# Using Doubao with Hologrow

> Connect the Doubao desktop app to Hologrow and access your synced commerce data through MCP.

# Using Doubao with Hologrow

Connect the Doubao desktop app to Hologrow through a custom MCP connector, then authorize access to your synced store and ad data.

## Prerequisites

1. At least one data source connected in [**Integrations**](../hologrow-basics/integrations) and syncing in [**Data Explorer**](../hologrow-basics/data-explorer)
2. Access to Doubao desktop app.

## Step 1: Create a custom connector

Open the Doubao desktop app. Go to **Skills · Connectors · Partners**, then click **New → New custom connector**.

## Step 2: Enter details and save

Enter the following details:

| Field          | Value                         |
| -------------- | ----------------------------- |
| Server name    | `Hologrow`                    |
| Transport type | **HTTP**                      |
| Server URL     | `https://mcp.hologrow.ai/mcp` |
| Custom Headers | Leave blank                   |

Click **Save**.

## Step 3: Authorize Hologrow

Click **Authorize** to open the Hologrow authorization page. Sign in and click **Allow access**.

## Installation complete: Start using Hologrow

Start a new conversation, then paste and send the message below. If Doubao returns your connected data platforms, the connection is working.

## Security

* Hologrow is **read-only** and never posts or changes store or ad settings.
* Access follows the Hologrow user who approved the connection.
